Meet Sharice, a vintage 1981 numbered porcelain doll designed by Jan Hagara for B & J Art Designs—and a former resident of Bethany’s Home Sweet Haunted Home, an 1878 Victorian house in California Gold Country known for its history and reported paranormal activity. Sharice has blonde curls, large blue eyes, and an elaborate white eyelet and lace dress. She is marked on the back of her neck B & J Art Designs, “Sharice,” ©1981 and has an individual handwritten number. For years, Sharice has been part of the doll collection displayed at Bethany’s Home Sweet Haunted Home, where she has shared the house with overnight guests, paranormal investigators, and whatever else may wander the halls after everyone has gone to bed.
