Product Description

Official 1992 vintage Will Rogers Memorial Commission standing bronze-finish commemorative statue. Masterfully sculpted by Oklahoma artist John Gooden as an authorized downscaled casting modeled directly after the iconic 1938 National Statuary Hall monument by historical sculptor Jo Davidson. Features the famous incised quotation around the front rim tier: "I never met a man I didn't like." The reverse side of the stepped pedestal displays crisp, authentic casting credits alongside the 1992 MWT Corp copyright stamp. Stands approximately 13 inches tall on a heavy, substantial faux-stone structural base with its original protective under-felt pads intact. Exceptional display condition with a beautiful, rich luster and no chips, cracks, or patina loss.#Will Rogers #JoDavidson #WesternBronze #OklahomaHistory #VintageStatue
