VTG WW2 Camp Shelby Mississippi Army Felt Pennant

Product Description
Up for sale is a really nice vintage World War II-era Camp Shelby, Mississippi felt pennant. Dating from circa 1941–1945, this authentic piece of American military home-front history features a gorgeous, multi-colored print of the United States Great Seal eagle emblem alongside crisp, off-white text reading "CAMP SHELBY MISS." What truly sets this particular pennant apart is its exceptional archival condition. Unlike most 1940s wool felt banners that suffer from moth holes, dry rot, or fading, this piece retains its vibrant navy blue color and sharp edges. The delicate, narrow tip remains completely intact and unfrayed, and the original yellow binding strip and hanging tassels are firmly attached at the base. The textured flock lettering is still nice. One little spot missing in the seal (see pic). Measuring 24”x7” it represents one of WWII's largest Army training centers. Perfect for militaria collectors.
