Product Description

Cast metal wall plaque with a medieval coat of arms design. Central shield has a relief of a figure fighting a serpent or dragon, surrounded by a mace, battle axes, and a sword. Double-headed eagle or griffin crest on top. Gold-tone paint over dark metal. Stamped JAPAN on the reverse. Metal hanging ring on the back. Significant paint chipping and loss across the entire front surface. The gold-tone finish is worn pretty heavily, especially at the raised edges of the relief. Oxidation and surface wear on the back, plus minor pitting in the metal casting. The chipping is noticeable up close, less so from a distance on the wall. Sold as-is for what it
