Up for auction is a Vintage BORGHESE Niepolds ~ Chalk Putti Bookends ~ Cherubs Harvesting Wheat Condition and Description: There are some imperfections in these beautiful pieces. The top of the wheat that the cherub is bundling has been adhered back on. There is a surface crack on the neck of the same cherub but it’s just the layer that’s cracked. In that spot there is a small surface piece missing. I show the other side of the neck to point out again the crack does not go all the way through. The one holding the scythe, on that same elbow, there is a minor blue “dent”. There is also noticeable dirt in the low spots and I don’t want to clean them and risk having anymore surface issues. All that being said, these are still two very amazing pieces!! Please view photos. I re-sell items from thrift stores, rummage sales, estate sales, storage units, and pallet liquidation warehouses.
