Product Description

Up for sale is a spectacular, show-stopping vintage 1980s runway statement necklace. This maximalist piece highlights a massive, intricately crafted geometric centerpiece depicting a fierce lion head, masterfully designed using individual mosaic inlay panels of genuine grey and white iridescent mother-of-pearl (MOP) shell set securely over a solid black resin structural backing. The lion centerpiece anchors a bold, beautifully balanced symmetrical strand featuring a section of classic cream pearls, faceted black accent beads, and highly detailed gold-tone fluted spacers. The monochromatic black, cream, and gold palette gives it a striking, high-fashion Art Deco revival aesthetic. The strand drapes beautifully and secures safely at the back with a classic, fully functional vintage metal barrel screw clasp mechanism. A magnificent, high-end collector's piece perfect for statement evening wear, holiday power-dressing, or fans of bold vintage costume art!
