A 1953 Book of Common Prayer published by The Seabury Press, Greenwich, Connecticut. Black pebbled leather cover with a gold-tone cross emblem on the front. Gold gilt page edges and a black ribbon bookmark. Includes The Psalter or Psalms of David. The certificate of conformity is dated September 1952, and the book is dated MDCCCCLIII. Printed in 32mo format. Pre-owned, like-new condition overall. The inside front cover and endpaper have handwritten inscriptions and signatures, including those of Bishop Sumner Walters and Rev. Fenn, among others. These inscriptions are the only noted condition detail.
