Product Description

An incredible piece of denim history. Manufactured in January 1977, this pair is a textbook example of late-70s transitional Levi's—featuring raw, unsanforized Shrink-To-Fit fabric woven on modern wide-bolt (non-selvedge) looms. Features the highly collectible "Little Man" cartoon care tag (only used 1975-1978). Features an authentic factory quirk with a 677 label code paired with a 674 top button stamp, indicating a real-time USA factory floor hardware rotation. Beautifully defined 2" forward leg twist on the lower outseam. Double-stitched rear pockets with a small-e red tab. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with gorgeous natural indigo fading. Includes a small wear spot on one leg (as shown in photos).
