Large Vintage Silver Filigree Flower Spray Brooch Spun Mesh Portuguese

Product Description
Exceptional large vintage silver filigree spray brooch, mid-20th century, likely Portuguese (Porto/Gondomar) or Italian origin. Unlike common flat filigree, this piece is built from finely woven spun-silver mesh — each petal and leaf individually formed in wire frames, with fully dimensional trumpet-form flowers, hand-applied stamens, and sculpted stems. A true showcase of European silversmithing at its most intricate. Measures approximately 4.5” long x 2” wide — a dramatic statement scale that reads beautifully on a lapel, coat, hat, or even styled in hair. Weight approx. 18 grams of silver. A rare survivor in this condition — the fragile mesh on pieces like this is usually damaged. Perfect for collectors of filigree, bridal styling, or anyone who loves elevated vintage with real craftsmanship.
