Pair of hand-painted wooden Loro Blonyo figures, traditional Javanese wedding statues. Both seated with hands resting on knees. Male figure has a blangkon headpiece and a keris dagger on the back. Female figure has a traditional hair bun. Purple or maroon upper bodies with yellow and orange floral patterns. Black lower bodies with white star-shaped batik patterns. Teal waistbands with floral accents. Black painted flat bases. Folk art style with stylized facial features. Wear: paint chipping on the noses of both figures, paint loss on the tops of the headpieces, paint wear on the shoulders and back edges.
