Product Description

David White surveyor's transit, olive green metal finish with telescope, adjustment knobs, and leveling screws on a circular base. Comes with the original orange hard plastic carrying case with black handle and a gray metal base plate. White label intact on the telescope body. This is a classic piece of "field surveying" equipment from an era when American optical instrument makers like David White were standard issue on job sites and engineering projects. A solid example of mid-century professional-grade survey gear. Minor surface wear and dust, consistent with a tool that was used and stored. No cracks, no missing parts noted.
