Lovely Davidson Blue Pearline opalescent glass compote in pre-owned condition with no visible wear. "Victoria and Albert" Blue opalescent glass with a scalloped rim and starburst pattern base. Pedestal compote style, approximately 6.5 inches in diameter. Davidson & Co. was a British glassmaker based in Gateshead, England, active from the mid-1800s through the 20th century. Pearline glass is their signature pressed opalescent ware, introduced in the 1880s. Pieces like this are collectible and hard to find in this condition.
