Antique French country confit pot in yellow glazed earthenware. Maker unknown, likely 19th or early 20th century rural French production. Thick-walled stoneware with a warm yellow glaze, traditional straight-sided confit form with a wide mouth and rolled rim. Gently used with minor wear consistent with age. Some glaze crazing throughout, which is typical of this era. No chips or cracks that compromise the body.
