Product Description

A tricorn twist on a Brilliant Period classic. This antique American Brilliant Period (ABP) cut glass nappy breaks from the standard round form with a distinctive lobed shape — a harder-to-find silhouette that stands out in any cut glass collection. Deeply cut whirling pinwheels spin around brilliant 16-point hobstars with fine crosshatched centers, punctuated by star-cut accents and framed by a bold sawtooth rim. The cutting is crisp and deep, and the blank is heavy in hand — real lead crystal fire when it catches the light. Perfect as a candy or bonbon dish, vanity catchall, or display piece. Small tricorn ABP pieces like this don’t surface often — when this one’s gone, it’s gone.
