## Creating an Account on Depop

Like many other reselling platforms, Depop makes sign-ups and logins easy by letting you chose how to login-by Google, Apple, or by email. Here are the steps:

4. The listing page will appear.

The listing page consists of the following sections, that you have to fill in:

### Photos

Depop lets you add up to eight photos for one listing. Specifically, Depop recommends the following photos:

- Cover photo
- Side
- Front
- Back
- Label
- Detail
- Flaw

### Description

Here, you describe the item. This can range from a basic description mentioning the brand, size and color or a longer one that describes how many times been worn, the material, the texture etc.

### Info

This part includes the **Category** (e.g., Men-coats and jackets), the **brand**, and the **condition**. More tags, like **color, source, age,** and **style**allows for a more thorough description of your item.

### Location

Adding your location helps you gain more views from people who are near you-and also lets people from afar decide if your item is worth the shipping fee. Your item will automatically be under Depop Shipping (via USPS) when you are shipping from the US, but you can also offer worldwide shipping.

## **How to get paid on Depop**

**Setting up payments**

You can skip the listing process and set up Depop payments first. Both on the app and the Depop website, you have to enter the following to activate your Depop balance:

- Name
- Address
- Phone number

Once done, connect your bank account by going to Settings. You will be asked to provide an ID for verification and receive payments.

_Note: Depop users must be 18+ to get paid. Otherwise, parents or guardians have to present identification on behalf of the minor selling on Depop._

### **Getting paid**

- Two days after tracking info shows the “Delivered” status, or
- 10 business days after

Some banks may take around five business days to reflect the payment.
